I think the fancy/hip term these days is “Speed to Market”. How quickly can someone come up with an idea R&D it (Research & Develop) it and finally launch it- no matter what the product, or service is.
When I approached Walt Laurel (http://www.for-the-troops.com/2008/10/27/the-essence-of-leadership/)with my idea about our first, original site, back in the beginning of August at Ken McArthur’s Impact Bootcamp, he was interested. So much so that he wanted to interview me for his Blog Talk Radio program. He gave me a deadline of a month to have the site up & running.
Well, all things said & done, it took us nearly two. But now it’chugging along nicely. Our overall Alexa ranking is around 1 million. Since we launched, it has jumped up nearly 16+ million spots!
Imagine what work it would have taken & he time & extra effort to promote our cause would be if we did not have the internet?
I would be living with a phone glued to my ear.
Remember,”Speed to Market”.
