I’ve always admired Albert Einstein, but most likely for reasons different than most people admire him. Of course I admire his genius but the genius that I admire and see in him may be different than the genius most people see in him.

Einstein was a mathematical genius because of the way he thought. Einsteins thinking process was very cutting edge for his time and he was constantly pushing the mental limits to be the best thinker that he could be. I believe that he realized the true power and potential of the mind and he just wanted to see how far he could take it because he enjoyed it.

The First Lesson…

When you have people violently opposing what you are doing and you know what you are doing is positive and beneficial for the world, then you are on the right path. This isn’t true all of the time, but everyone making a big impact has haters.

People will tell you that you are crazy for starting your home-based business, your blog, or sharing your life story online in the form of an ebook. What mediocre minds don’t understand is that as Dov Baron say’s “We are here to serve others were are where we once were.”

Stick to what you know is best and stay on that path, opposition and people questioning what you are doing is a good sign. Oprah and Mother Teresa have and had haters so that should be something to look forward too.

If you can be crazy enough to not care what people think about you, and on top of that to use logic to gain traction and imagination from there on out you are set like a dining table!

Logic is important and will help you move forward, it’s an important left-brain activity that is needed in order to progress and make consistent progress on a day to day basis. If you don’t have right-brain exercises though that stimulate your creativity and imagination you will be stuck in your logic and your imagination won’t paint you a beautiful picture of your future.

Einstein also said: “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” which I hold in my minds eye often.

When you imagine your life, business and success you are putting out the vibration and belief system around those coming to you in your life.

I recommend daydreaming the hell out of your dream life! spend time visualizing where you want to live, what you want it to look like, what you will have for breakfast and everything. Imagine every single detail. This attracts these things into your life quicker because it causes your focus to expand on what brings these things into your life instead of attracting more negativity, financial troubles, stress and problems.

To sum up what Einstein has shared with us in his life are two crucial lessons…

1. Don’t give a shit about what anyone thinks about you

2. Imagine everything and see it in your mind’s eye first, then it will come to you.

Make Your Success… Yours! Just claim it.

Stay Positive.

I debated on writing this blog post or not, who in their right mind wants to dissect a powerful billionaire?

Most people would just ignore calling someone out, especially Mark Cuban, the Dallas Maverick Owning Shark Tank Crushing Billionaire.

The reason I am writing this blog post is not for me, it’s for you. It’s to hopefully open your eyes to seeing things in a different way and recognizing BS when you see it, or smell it.

Like most internet entrepreneurs, I look up to and admire the successful billionaire dollar brand that Mark has created. Unlike Kevin O’leary though, I understand that there actually is more to life than money.

I’ve actually admired Mark Cuban for years, since I first learned about him growing up from an entrepreneurial friend older than me that I looked up to that emailed Mark Regularly.

One of the reasons I wrote

this post is because I respect and admire ideas, and the action to make them a reality. The two ideas that mark shot down may not be the biggest technological breakthrough’s of the century, but they were individuals ideas who took a shot and made something of it.

In this article, I’m just sharing my opinion on a few things I noticed about mark cuban that I wouldn’t “endorse” as an entrepreneur, or just as a person in general.

Some “Character Traits” do not help you in life or business, in fact they can actually harm your relationships and potential to make larger deals and ventures happen.

You Won’t Learn From Mark Cuban: #1 An Open Mind

The First thing you will not learn that can benefit you as an entrepreneur and in business is to have an open mind. Having an open mind can be pivotal in your success and often is. In fact, some people continue to fail in online business ventures over and over again simply because they have a close mind. So what is a close mind? and… how to you recognize it in potential partners before working with them?

A closed mind doesn’t work as well as an open one, it’s someone who mentally is closed to even the possibility of something being different than they know. The current reality in someone’s mind is often a confined box and they don’t “think outside of it” often enough. The biggest ideas, innovations and impactful entrepreneurial ventures over the centuries have come from “crazy” ideas and inventions. The light bulb, electricity, alternative energy sources, the intermittent wiper blade (watch the movie: flash of genius), and many other products.

There have been countless inventions and products that have either changed the world directly that were first thought of as crazy and there have also been many of these that didn’t work out at all but eventually evolved into something else that changed the world. Mark Cuban should know this better than anyone! Most internet startups begin as one thing and then evolve into something completely different. Twitter was created then made extremely successful practically on accident.

All this being said, for me as an entrepreneur I choose to have an open-mind. When I say “an open mind” I do mean extremely open too. I have heard so many crazy theories and philosophies that if I shared them all with you in the span of a week you would probably think I just landed on earth from mars.

I first realized Mark’s “not yet open mind” while watching the shark tank and seeing this:

(Ignore the rest of the video beyond the actual shark tank portion, that’s just another guy’s opinion and irrelevant to this blog post.)

When I heard this, I wasn’t all that surprised to hear about the bracelets. They have been around for a while and they may or may not help, i’m really not sure. This is besides the point.
The way Mark responded here told me that first, he was not open-minded at all and second, he may be a sellout to tv networks just like the rest of them.

It’s obvious that he was close minded to hearing this guy even speak because he cut him off and said he’s a scammer right away. The part that I found interesting though was where he said “players on my team wear this and it’s a scam” somewhere in there. I thought to myself, why would you be so against it when players on your team wear it and won a championship last year? What I also found interesting was that other sharks jumped in and tried to disqualify him as well without hearing much about it.

My personal opinion is that because alternative health and actual health technology is being created that is effective the medical and specifically pharmaceutical industry pay money where ever they can to counter-balance it. All television shows including reality tv do have some drama and I understand that, but the targeted drama and “scam calling out” in this episode was targeted for a reason.

Television PROGRAMMING is called television programming for a reason. There are many hidden embedded commands and covert influential messages on tv shows, commercials and within movies. The entertainment business is more than a laugh and a ticket fee.

If a large corporation paid me to polarize something that was helping people in order to help them increase their revenue and promote something that harms people I would say no without thinking twice. Do you think that there is behind the scene endorsements, polarizing and influential persuasion tactics used in tv shows and movies? (Leave a comment below)

You Won’t Learn From Mark Cuban: Respecting People & Their Ideas

I responded to Mark Cuban on facebook commenting on the video that he shared (posted above) leaving my thoughts and actually mentioning some research that proved positive & negative ions did have an effect on health and performance from Columbia university and a German researcher. He was most likely wrong (according to Columbia university and a German researcher) in his judgment of this guy presenting a simple idea. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn’t. That’s not the point of this.

In another episode later on Mark tore Scott Jordan’s patent and idea (technology enabled clothing: TEC) to shreds for no reason other than it was too simple of a patent. No one else had patented it and he was first to it! So give the guy credit, don’t treat him like an ass for staking claim on something that no one else did.

The point of this article is to help you understand that you need to have an open mind and to respect people’s ideas and creations that they put their blood, sweat, and tears into even if it sounds “crazy” to you.

That’s all, it’s a pretty simple guideline to follow. Learn to listen more often and be slower to speak. Sometimes talking too often costs you everything. Many “great salespeople” do this by overselling instead of just shutting up and listening to the potential customer for a minute.

If you can respect people, have an open-mind, and listen to their ideas without judging it off the bat you will have a much better chance of finding a high quality business partner or creating more success in your current business.

You would be surprised how quickly you can anger someone (and their network: people talk) when you attack their idea or mental beliefs. With this being said, I do encourage you to stand up for your own beliefs just as long as your belief isn’t to be an ass and polarize people because they think different.

We all learn and grow when we come together and share information, not polarizing each other because it’s too crazy for our mind to comprehend.

Leave your comments below…

David

P.S. I don’t know if mark is a close minded polarizing asshole in real life because i’ve never met him… could all just be tv show drama! I hope it is

Gratitude is one of the best emotions that you can have. In Life having an attitude of gratitude is extremely important because it allows you to accept what you have and that emotion of being grateful allows more to flow into your life.

So what is “Having an attitude of gratitude”?

Gratitude goes hand-in-hand with appreciation.

Appreciation means to raise in value. So when you have an attitude of gratitude you are appreciating life and all that you have which means that you are being thankful for the value that is in your life and by doing that you attract more into your life.

By having an attitude of gratitude you are appreciating the growth of value in your life.

By appreciateing the growth of value in your life you attract more of it into your life. So by having an attitude of gratitude you attract more valuable and apprection into your life. By having gratitude and appreciation you are GIVING thanks! and by giving thanks you get thanks given to you!

Being thankful is such a powerful emotion, having appreciation and gratitude.

When you deal with people and you are thankful for the value they give into your life and you show them that you are thankful they appreciate you back and want to give more and invest right back into you.

So in life be thankful, appreciative and have an attitude of gratitude not only with the people you deal with on a day-to-day basis but be thankful for everything you have every single day. Feel the appreciation for everything, Look at everything you have and feel loved and blessed for how much has been given to you throughout your life even if it is less then someone else.

It doesn’t matter if you have less than everyone else, once you start to appreciate you get appreciated back from both people and the universe. Don’t wait another minute to appreciate all that you have and all that is given to you.

Take time daily to appreciate and feel the gratitude and love that has been given to you and you will align yourself to be given to and appreciated for appreciating!

I recently saw “the compass” and wanted to write a blog post sharing my thoughts on it. This movie was put together by john spencer ellis and in it are amazing people like T Harv Eker, Les Brown, Brian Tracy, Joe Vitale, Debbie Allen, Tammy Kling, John Assaraf, bruce lipton, tony jeary, Ona brown and more.

The compass is a 1 hour and 30 minute movie where some of the top wealth, business and personal development strategists in the world share with you the key factors that helped them achieve success and become happy and do what they are passionate about.

The compass is about finding your direction, the right direction. Not the direction that they want for you but the direction that you want to go to live your life in your passion and your purpose. The thing I loved about the compass is that it gave so much value and insight on what exactly you need to do to find that direction in your life and attract it in order to live in it and be it instead of just talking about it.

The movie is important because as an entrepreneur, business owner and person who wants to grow and move to the next level you always need to have direction and you are constantly going to be changing your direction. The compass shares with you the practical advice and knowledge that these leaders not only say but live in daily.

The compass shares with you how and what you need to do to find your purpose and passion and live in it as soon as possible. The great part is that the whole movie breaks it down into chapters so that you can take notes on each chapter and continue this process over and over to get your desired result which is living your dream life and full of passion and purpose.

There were some amazing points that this movie made, gratitude and love, being in the moment and looking internal are just a few. By living these things you find your passion, purpose and direction so much quicker and it allows you to attract it into your life quicker because you are in alignment with what you want. You are no longer in the struggle, you are in the flow… You are aligned with who you are and being who you are in purpose attracts what you want.

The movie was amazing and i’m so thankful for all of the experts and amazing people that were in it! I was actually really surprised that there were so many amazing people in one movie! I would recommend that you pick up the dvd, watch it and take notes! You will achieve every single goal and live your life’s purpose if you really follow every single one of these steps in your life.

Watch the trailer below to see more of what this is about…
