in Blogging

What skills do you need to master in 2009 to ensure that your internet marketing business is taken to the level that you want it to be at?

Think about this.

really think about it.

What skills do you need to master in 2009 to take your internet business to “that next level”

or to just get started!

There are specific things you know that you need to work on and learn.

post them below.

learning what you need to work on is the best thing you can do for yourself this year.

For me in 2009 I will be focusing on the wtc method and driving traffic to my website…

My goal is to become a better social media marketer and “connector” that’s me in 09!

I’m pretty excited for joel comm’s new book entitled “twitter power” because I have been growing my twitter impact!

Joel comm is releasing his new book twitter power I recommend it… because he is a mogul in the industry and am confident that this book will change my twitter marketing efforts as well as yours.

I’m going to post another post on my blog about twitter and how you can use it in your marketing.

There is more than just following and being followed…. It is a dynamic site.

I will be talking about this in future blog posts…

Remember to subscribe to Rss and get on the early pre-notification list for when my wtc method is released!

Leave YOUR COMMITMENTS BELOW! not your goals… your commitments.  The things that you WILL master this year!

Cheers!

1. I need to understand how wordpress works to take better advantage of all its tools. I need to understand how to work with code so I can work in my side bar etc.

2. learning how to outsource and batch as much of my routine work to concentrate on my projects.

I only have one major skill I need to learn for this year.

It’s a big one though…

how to build a site!

I have the marketing background as well as all the resources I need to succeed, but the basics of the technical know-how.

When we created our first, original site, I didn’t want to make it look like some amateur designed it. SO I went to the best. Thanks to the great folks at http://www.inverseparadox.net , our site is a great-looking, fun site. There is no way I would have trusted myself to build something this cool.

Thanks again for a very good post (as usual).

Best,

In fact, we donated $200 already.

P.S. I agree with you, Joel Comm’s the man!

working with wordpress… and building a website…

awesome! thanks for the feedback.

It took me a little bit to create this blog… (still kinda amateur looking)

But I follow the RFA approach… Ready…FIRE…aim.

I believe you can achieve what you set your mind too…

You have the ability to do that…
If you need help… just hire someone!
I had 4 people help me with this blog.

2 for graphic… and 2 for technical stuff!

Thanks for the feedback again!

Hello David,

Great info and question. Now that I have defined my target market the skill I really need to master is how to optimize website exposure to that market and tweak the sites to increase conversion (sound familiar?).

Thanks again for providing the venue to share ideas,
Jim

Hi David,

What a challenging question. This is good it makes you think!

My first commitment for 2009 is same as yours (you mentioned being a better “connector” in 2009), I was doing it without realizing it. Sometimes that happens ya know, lol!

The book “Tribes” by Seth Godin got me pumped and got me to start thinking about just that. Being a better connector with my Tribes/Groups whatever those groups maybe. I have already implemented 3 of the 4 pieces of this notion. The 4th will be on twitter soon, lol!

http:twitter.com/shop4uniquegift stop on by and twitter me a hello :) .

My second commitment is to remain more positive I start with this video every morning and it gets me excited and pumped. Being an optimistic person in general this commitment moves me to a deeper level of being more positive.

My third commitment is to expand my internet marketing business into a few different markets. Expansion is fine in 2009! LOL!

Although these above commitments may sound vague I do have them mapped out per step per time frame etc. I don’t want to bombard you and your readers with all my details.

Wishing you positive results in 2009 looking forward to your report.

Oh by the by I love that floating tag cloud! :)

Thanks!
