What can you sell that unsells?

I was browsing the web today and was curious about the “Quit smoking” market. I went and did some keyword research and realized it was a pretty big market, bigger than I thought it was.

I got to thinking…

The “Stop smoking” market is a market that unsells the cigarette market.

The cigarette is the bad, unhealthy habit that is profitable but then there is this whole other side of the market. We’ll call it the reverse market!

This market is absolutely huge and I am sure that people are making really good money in it.

Making money online and creating products that are highly successful don’t always have to be selling something.

There are a ton of “Reversal” markets out there.

Quit smoking, weight loss, anti-aging, stop doing drugs… just to name a few.

In the marketplace problems need solutions. Everything balances out.

Unfortunately we have people that sell problems! Drug companies, cigarette companies, and junk food!

But at the same time it’s a blessing in disguise because it provides a whole new market that provides a solution and helps people’s lives.

Think outside the box.

Is there any market in your market that is a “reversal” type market?

If so what are you doing or can you be doing to tap into it and help people solve problems?

The world needs a lot of solutions and I know that you have a lot of them you still want to get out there.

So be sure to remember this question… “What can I sell that unsells?”

What can you do to help make the world a better place? (Thanks MJ)

Those are the most rewarding markets both financially, mentally and emotionally. To know that you are changing someone’s life for the better and making money… You really can’t beat that!

Until next time… think outside the box and provide more solutions. Give more value!

You are paid in direct proportionate of how much value you give to the marketplace, so if you feel that you aren’t making enough money then you need to be giving more value into the marketplace. Provide more solutions.

Have an awesome rest of the day and remember to smile and learn from life! that’s what it’s about!

Take care icon smile What can you sell that unsells?

Good post. Should get some to think in a different way about what they can offer. Providing 'solutions' is one of the most powerful motivators … so looking at problems your niche has and offering ways to overcome them is real key.

Yes, this can be how to stop, avoid, undo, replace etc …. many many ways of tackling a problem.

Food for thought (again)

Never really thought of it this way David. I have used reverse SPAM sending offers back to those that send you. Not so sure I would like to promote cigarettes, precription drugs or some of these others but what the heck, a buck is a buck.

I don't want to promote cigarattes or prescription drugs either! But I will promote the things that fix those things! because cigarettes and drugs need a lot of fixing!

I am not certain about unselling, my product is instructional guides to help people succeed with online tools in particular WordPress. It seems like it is a solution to people's problems as I get many questions and people hunt for my solutions.
Yet it seems my products… unsell. The last 2 months my sales have dropped and I am getting hit with people claiming their cards were stolen. Rather discouraging when I know my product is good (not ego, people RAVE) and this is my only income.
Of course June has been the craziest most insane month in my life. So who knows.

Thanks for your comment MJ, what I mean by unselling is to unsell things that are old and aren't valuable any way…

For you… unsell forums and traditional static websites. Tap into those keywords and introduce them to wordpress and the new streaming web!

keep your head up, always innovate and believe you can succeed.
Give value daily and nothing will stop your business from growing.

Glad to see you comment here, have an awesome day!
