When I started watching it I was just hoping that it wouldn’t be another: “Set goals and plan” dvd because i’ve seen a few of those.

I really liked the way the dvd was laid out and the value of the content and insight that it provided.

The dvd covers 4 areas of your life and it breaks it down into a simple acronym which is WISH.

wish stands for…

W – Wealth
I – Inspiration
S – Success
H – Happiness

Throughout the dvd these 4 areas are broken down into smaller parts where people like Les Brown, Brian Tracy and Debbie Allen coach you and give you wisdom that will help you become more successful and grow in those areas.

I love that it broke it down into those 4 areas because i feel that those 4 areas are important for your overall success and well-being.

Wealth and business building, Inspiration is what inspires you to create your vision and becoming successful in it and being eternally happy! I loved it!

The movie was packed with so many great questions, quotes and snippets that make you think about certain things in ways that you have probably never thought about them before.

I love to see things from new angles and absorb different types of successful people in different areas because you can learn something different from each of them and I think that this movie did that wonderfully!

Another cool thing from the movie is this equation:

P + T * A² = Success

P = Passion

T = Talent

A = Action

A² = Association

Last year I made a video that said “Passion + Work = success” which is similar to this but this is more beneficial if you implement it.

By taking what you are passionate about and mixing it with your talent you have effectively found out what it is you will enjoy the most and be best at.

Your passion added to your talent is what you will be best at and enjoy most.

So for me I love Marketing and building businesses. My talent is in connecting and building relationships with people.

So what do you think I would be great at?

Networking, business building and educating which is exactly what i’m doing and I love it!

Once you have what your passion and talent is written down put them together and figure out what you really want to do with both your passion and talent.

Next you take action on it.

Just DO IT as art williams says.

After you take action your association changes and it allows you to grow as a person and so many more opportunities to excel in your passion and talent to open up to you.

I loved this movie and really got a lot out of it.

So many great people were in it like Brian tracy, Les brown, Debbie Allen, John assaraf, Denis waitley, David Dean, Mark Victor Hansen, Bill Walsh, Stephanie Frank, Bill Bartmann, Greg Reid and many more!

One of the things that I loved most about this movie was the questions and viewpoints that some of them portrayed.

The quality of the answers in your life is determined by the quality of your questions.

Pick it up if you want to be inspired, uplifted and reminded of what it takes to be successful!

take care!

David king

P.S. It was cool to see one of my friends in it! @StephanieFrank is awesome! Follow her on twitter and get to know her! she gives some valuable insight in the movie!

I just finished reading “The Art of closing the sale” by: Brian tracy.

I think it’s important for people in business to understand whether you are in “sales” or not you are still in sales.

You are constantly selling yourself, your ideas or your products or services.

Sales is an inescapable area of life, you can either choose to be good at it by educating yourself or you can just be average.

I know that your ability to sell has a huge impact on the success of your business as well! If no one wanted to buy your products or services how could you even be in business?

Nothing moves without a sale. Regardless of how you feel about salespeople you are one too! Your just in a different sales business!

I read the book to gain a better understanding of the close, to expand my current skills so that I can be more successful in selling my products/services online.

The book really covered a lot of closing techniques very well and there’s no way I could cover them all here but I want to share with you a few techniques in your sales and marketing that can help you increase your response rate and have a higher closing/converting ratio.

The first thing I want to share with you is “The power of Yes”

In your marketing and sales you want the prospect to say “yes” mentally or verbally as many times as they can! If you can ask 6 or more questions where the prospect says yes the prospect will thereafter nod and agree to anything you say.

When I was in a sales job we called this “Commitment and consistency” because you get them committing by saying yes then they keep saying yes over and over until the opportunity to buy comes up and they are so yes minded they would have to stop and think about saying no.

This is a powerful technique, and I know from first-hand experience. It’s extremely powerful because you are getting them to agree with you over and over and when you want them to buy they just want to agree with you again.

We are very habitual beings so get your prospect to say “yes” often even if it’s not necessarily related to what you are selling because it still helps them agree with you.

This principle is so powerful and the greatest salespeople and marketers understand this, so the quicker you can apply it the better.

The book covers so many other ways to close a prospect, how to lead them into it and how to really just overcome closing objections really well.

Most people want to buy and like buying, your job is just to make sure that the value they are receiving exceeds the price.

If it’s a “good or great deal” they will get it because it’s the smart thing to do.

I encourage you to pick up the book and read it whether you are a salesperson or not! Sales, Marketing and all businesses can learn from the concepts in this book to increase their bottom line and continue to grow at a quicker rate.

Thanks for reading this post!
Please comment, share and connect with me!

P.S. Any other sales books you read and recommend? Feel free to share!

I recently saw “the compass” and wanted to write a blog post sharing my thoughts on it. This movie was put together by john spencer ellis and in it are amazing people like T Harv Eker, Les Brown, Brian Tracy, Joe Vitale, Debbie Allen, Tammy Kling, John Assaraf, bruce lipton, tony jeary, Ona brown and more.

The compass is a 1 hour and 30 minute movie where some of the top wealth, business and personal development strategists in the world share with you the key factors that helped them achieve success and become happy and do what they are passionate about.

The compass is about finding your direction, the right direction. Not the direction that they want for you but the direction that you want to go to live your life in your passion and your purpose. The thing I loved about the compass is that it gave so much value and insight on what exactly you need to do to find that direction in your life and attract it in order to live in it and be it instead of just talking about it.

The movie is important because as an entrepreneur, business owner and person who wants to grow and move to the next level you always need to have direction and you are constantly going to be changing your direction. The compass shares with you the practical advice and knowledge that these leaders not only say but live in daily.

The compass shares with you how and what you need to do to find your purpose and passion and live in it as soon as possible. The great part is that the whole movie breaks it down into chapters so that you can take notes on each chapter and continue this process over and over to get your desired result which is living your dream life and full of passion and purpose.

There were some amazing points that this movie made, gratitude and love, being in the moment and looking internal are just a few. By living these things you find your passion, purpose and direction so much quicker and it allows you to attract it into your life quicker because you are in alignment with what you want. You are no longer in the struggle, you are in the flow… You are aligned with who you are and being who you are in purpose attracts what you want.

The movie was amazing and i’m so thankful for all of the experts and amazing people that were in it! I was actually really surprised that there were so many amazing people in one movie! I would recommend that you pick up the dvd, watch it and take notes! You will achieve every single goal and live your life’s purpose if you really follow every single one of these steps in your life.

Watch the trailer below to see more of what this is about…

I recommend that if you want to live your passion and purpose to pick this up, take notes and apply it in your life! Don’t wait another minute!

Please leave your comments and share this post!

David King,

P.S. “many people die at age 25 but don’t get buried until age 65.” – Les Brown (from the compass)
