Yes you… pretend i’m talking to just you and only you right now. You could be the only one reading this, so who knows maybe I wrote it just for you?

Today i’m going to talk about inspiration and motivation, the difference between the two and how you could benefit from being both inspired and motivated naturally.

Many old school motivational speakers “Motivate” and try to get you “pumped up” to do what you really want to do but for some reason never do? Doesn’t make much sense does it? Why do we even have motivational speakers? Why aren’t we naturally motivated? why don’t we do what we love and make a huge positive impact on the world because it’s what we live for?

I, like you have probably had a few of the same questions.

Motivation is defined as “The State of BEING Motivated”

Notice I put being all all caps! there’s a reason for that.

The only reason you would need to get motivated is to do something you don’t want to do.

Let me say that again and be sure to read this twice…

“THE only reason you would need to get motivated is to do something you don’t want to do.”

So… the question is “What don’t you want to do?” and “Why?”

Chances are if you really look at the situation on a deeper level you will find that you are trying to get motivated to do something you don’t want to do in order to get a result you want.

Let’s take an example, You want to have a nicer home, give your kids a better life and be able to travel and vacation with your kids more so they can see more of the world.

Solution: Call leads after work, spend time trying to make extra money in a side business or something like that.

When really you break it down it’s not about what you are doing, it’s about the outcome… it’s about living that lifestyle not calling leads or building a side business and wearing yourself out.

Motivation is a thing of the past, it’s a washed up business model. It’s the PC and inspiration is the new Mac.

Inspiration on the other hand is a totally different story.

Inspiration is an interesting word. It is literally the opposite of “expiration” meaning to end. So inspiration means to begin or grow in my mind. Motivation to do things you don’t want to do get’s you closer to your expiration whereas when you are inspired you are naturally motivated and you are growing, evolving and beginning every day.

Inspiration is “In-Spirit” it means to be in your spirit, to be connected to something that you are passionate about. Connected to something that you feel driven by and are emotionally attached too.

Inspiration is the spiritually evolved motivation if you really look at it.

So getting back to my post, I like to talk about inspiration, being inspired and being connected to a huge purpose and vision!

Inspiration is something that stirs your spirit, that excites you! that keeps you up at night! That when you do it doesn’t feel like work and time FLIES.

Inspired people “do what they love” instead of decide to “love what they do” because they don’t settle.

When you are inspired you are naturally motivated, you are connected to something that gives you energy and fulfills you in so many ways.

Whatever you are inspired by, Do it now.

Don’t wait another day.

Stop trying to get motivated to make money and live “that life” and instead chase your inspirations, the dreams will come to you when you chase your inspirations.

Life works at another level when you are inspired, things happen quicker and you will make more money then working hard and being motivated.

Spend time asking yourself: What inspires me?, What gives me satisfaction and pleasure every time I do it?, What do I love doing?, What do I love being?, What am I most passionate about?

There are always ways to monetize your hobby, skill or inspired passion so don’t worry about that.

Just go after your inspirations and your dreams will chase you.

I have a story that I want to share with you today, it’s a story that I came across and really loved so I want to share it with you here… hopefully you benefit from it.

Here is the story:

“One day a farmer’s pig fell down into a well. The animal squealed for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally the farmer decided the pig was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the pig.

The farmer invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the pig realized what was happening and squealed horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down.

PAUSE STORY: Before continuing, I want you go guess what happens next… what does the pig do? the ability to put yourself in the pig’s situation and solve the problem without continuing is valuable so stop reading this and do this exercise now.

Answer: What would I do if I were the pig to get out of this situation?

Continue story:

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the pig was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbor continued to shovel dirt on top of the pig, the pig would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the pig stepped up over the edge of the well and happily walked off.

So what did you get out of this story?

Here’s what I got…

Sometimes stuff happens that wasn’t planned, sometimes we get results we didn’t set out to get.

You must be determined, You must NOT quit, Life is made to accomplish those dreams. I attach my life to the way i’m living so if i’m not living my dream life and changing the world then what’s the point of living. Take your dreams seriously, they are your life and you truly live when you are living in those dreams.

The lesson of the story is this: We have 2 options.

1. To take everything as a learning lesson and use it as a stepping stone…

OR…

2. Let life knock us down and don’t get back up.

The choice is up to you, it’s all in your mentality.

The last thing I want you to do is read this post and think that you are a victim and you will have bad stuff happen to you all the time because that is not the point of this post. I know some people’s perspective will be that of a wallflower, they will say “Life happens to me” and it’s not my fault! it just happend.

Either you proactively create your world or it reactively creates you.

Less dirt will get thrown on you if you are proactive, I bet if that pig was in shape (proactive) it wouldn’t have fallen into the pit in the first place!!

No matter where you are in life, if you are in a reactive mode or proactive mode make a choice and decide to be as proactive as possible and when you need to be reactive to proactively react to it!

Life is what you make of it, your attitude, belief systems and actions are all that really matter.

Stop reading this post and do what you need to do………… NOW!

What is the difference between the you now and the you that you want to be?

What is the big difference? how come you aren’t where you want to be yet? What’s holding you back?

What is your biggest constraint?

I’m sure you have had questions like these before about your business.

One of the biggest things that I have learned so far is that passion is worth it’s weight in gold.

Passion has so many benefits and allows you to make so much more happen in your life than you would without it.

When you aren’t living in your passion you aren’t living in that exciting enthusiastic place.

When you don’t live in passion you are not inspired which means “in-spirit” and when you are not connected to your spirit and inspiration then it’s really hard to live your extraordinary life because you don’t know what to do to get there and it keeps you stuck in the place you are currently at.

Inspiration is passion in action.  Inspiration is the feeling you get, the passion, the excitement you get when working on what it is that inspires you and keeps you up at night.

You need that passion in your life, it is so extremely valuable.

If you don’t have it life is just another dull and boring routine that happens everyday.

Passion is that driving energy that fuels your spirit which allows you to be inspired and create a dreamlife.

You need your passion, you need to be inspired and you need to know what your purpose for being here is.

If you don’t know what your purpose is do your best to find it because it really is extremely valuable.  It allows you to work from a place that is unparallel to anyone else.

Genius is born when passion and enthusiasm meet.  You got to have it!

Sometimes in life it can be hard to keep that passion and enthusiasm because things don’t go our way, or they take longer to accomplish than we originally thought.

Life keeps us busy with the day to day tasks that we let time go by and don’t stay connected to what we love and what inspires us.  When you do that you hurt not only yourself but the entire world because you are not enriching the lives of others and being that love/joy/abundance where there is none.

I interact with a lot of people ranging in different income levels, different backgrounds and different ages.

The biggest thing that I have noticed between the people making things happen and creating their dreamlife from the people who barely seem to get by is that the people that are creating there dreamlife have an extremely passionate drive that the others do not.

That passion fueled by inspiration is the guiding factor in their life.  They will follow it anywhere because it is what make’s them happy and “in the moment” it is where there true genius shines.

If you lost your passion or set it aside don’t wait for life to pass you by.  Find your passion again and tap into it and find your inspiration.

When that happens magic does.

If you don’t know what your passion is because you feel that throughout life other people have molded and shaped you and influenced you in the way that they see fit then here are some good questions to ask to help you discover it.

What excites me? what keeps me up at night because I cannot wait to get back to it?

What gives me energy even if I was completely exhausted?

What keeps my mind, body and spirit feeling fulfilled and giving?

What do I love to spend my time doing?

Where am I happiest?

What could I do all day long if I wasn’t getting paid to do it?

I hope those questions help and you look internally and find that passion if you have lost it because it truly is gold inside of you.

It’s so valuable in business, life and living in an abundant amazing universe.

I hope that you find your passion and stay inspired because it’s something you need if you want to be successful in your business.

Keep being inspired and keep that passion strong! They go so far!

I’m so glad… I would say it’s my first blogging milestone.

besides subscribers and traffic of course!

anyways today I wan’t to blog about persistence and never giving up.

Why?

It is times that are tough that we think about quitting.
times where the expenses are high and income is low.
times when it seems like there are more bad then good.
times when the road seems so long.

when’s the last time you thought maybe this isn’t worth it.

when’s the last time that you contemplated just forgetting all this entreprepreneurial stuff altogether?

The only thing I can tell you is.

DON’T QUIT!!!

You see when you quit that is when you fail.
that is when you’ve totally lost is when you quit.

I never said the word never.

But When you don’t quit you can NEVER fail!

did you catch that?

what’s the key to success?
NEVER ever giving up.
never quitting.
never getting back up in the ring to fight.

that my friends is when you lose.

You can achieve so much more than you even think or believe you can.

Just believe in yourself, NEVER quit and move forward in the way that you think you should be going.

Simple as that.
