I just read “10 steps for success and inner peace” by Wayne Dyer and it is another book that I loved reading and got a lot out of!

In this book Wayne talks about some of the most influential secrets that he has learned in his life that have helped him and countless others be successful and find inner peace.

I loved the book and as always I always learn something from Dr. Wayne Dyer!

Below are the 10 Secrets and a snippet about each…

1. Have a Mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing - This seems easy but for most people it’s a little bit of a challenge. Growing up you are conditioned by people about your religion, race, political siding and more. When you become attached to things and close-minded you cut-off growth in your life. You want to always be learning and growing and evolving more because the more you grow the more your satisfying your purpose and life becomes!

2. Don’t die with your music still inside you - Harmony is a great word to keep in mind. What is your purpose? your inner calling? Remember to listen to your heart and your right brain. Your right brain is the feeling emotional side of the brain that intuitively knows what’s best for you. Be passionate and take risks because there is no such thing as failure. Failure is merely an undesired result. If you learn something from it you will grow and those failures bloom into beautiful successes. That’s the way the universe works! Be patient and wait for it!

3. You can’t give away what you don’t have - This seems obvious but it’s something to always be aware of! If you want more Love, wealth and happiness in your life you must learn how to emulate love, happiness and wealth and BE that. You must love and respect yourself, learn how to give. be open and willing to serve and appreciate everything in your life. When you understand this principle your life will be a living example of love, happiness and wealth because that is what you give out. By also appreciating you “appreciate” in value. Notice how appreciate is in appreciation.

4. Embrace silence - We live in a noisy world. Everywhere we go there is noise and it seems odd to have silence. Silence allows you to connect with your spirit and your higher self. By embracing silence you allow yourself to be creative, intuitive and listen to your heart. Silence is important because it allows you to connect with your purpose driven self instead of the self that everyone else expects and you react to. Nature is also a great therapeutic way to heal and connect with your purpose and stay connected to source energy.

5. Give up your personal history – A wake behind a boat is nothing more than the result of the boat moving forward. The wake is the past. Be sure to not be a victim of your personal history and allow yourself to be in the NOW. Don’t live in the past or future because by being in the now you allow yourself to enjoy life in it’s fullest entirety and stay connected to your higher self.

6. You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it – You don’t have a problem, you only think you do. There have been countless times in business where a “problem” arises and i’m not sure what to do. Every single time a solution has erased the problem. Not once have I overcame the “problem” that I faced. I believe that if you believe you will find the answer then you will. You just need to grow to a higher place to solve the problem. Your mind is no longer the same mind when you evolve and grow. Be sure to get out of your ego that probably got you into the “problem” in the first place and connect to your spirit and you will know the answer to the problem. Just because something is unseen doesn’t mean the answer isn’t right in front of you!

7. There are no justified resentments – Have you ever blamed someone else for being the way that you are? This can be one of the most self-defeating ego driven ways to not live a life full of abundance happiness and purpose. Stop doing that to yourself! You are the creator of your world. Make sure to forgive those who have wronged you in any way because by clearing those negative emotions you break free from the jail that held you back before. By clearing negative emotions you operate at a higher level of consciousness that is positive and doesn’t get offended. Keep evolving and focus on being your higher self!

8. Treat yourself as if you already are what you’d like to be – “As if” treat yourself as if you are what and where you’d like to be. By consciously creating your life and visualizing it you help create the creation process of being and growing into that. Be as if and before you know it you will be.

9. Treasure your divinity – You are divine, you are a god. You have amazing inspiration, energy and creation abilities that you don’t even know you possess yet. Don’t separate yourself from anything. You are connected to all and have manifestation power. Use it!

10. Wisdom is avoiding all thoughts that weaken you – In this life you have two types of thoughts that matter. You either have thoughts that weaken you or thoughts that strengthen you. Wisdom is choosing to embrace only positive strengthening thoughts. Empower yourself and choose to be optimistic and expect good things to happen. Why shouldn’t you have good things happen to you? Don’t answer that question because you deserve even great things to happen to you. Nothing you did excludes you from having abundance, happiness and a purpose driven life.

I finished reading “The power of intention” today by Wayne Dyer and I Loved it! I got so much out of this book and in this blog post I’m going to try to enlighten you with as much of that information as I can.

If you aren’t familiar with wayne dyer he has written 30 books and from those has multiple best-sellers. He is someone who will impact your life in a positive way so I would encourage you to read his books and consume all the information he puts out there!

In this book wayne talks about the power of intention and how you can connect to it to manifest amazing things in your life.

It’s important to understand that both energy and vibration play an important role in the manifestation process. If you are not operating at a high enough frequency, energy and vibration you are not connected to the powerful intention of the universe. The one that created you!

There are seven faces of intention that you must follow along with being in the right vibration and energy in order to manifest powerful intentions that act on your behalf.

The seven faces are…

1.The face of creativity – The power of intention has to be creative or else we wouldn’t be in existence. Intention is creative, you cannot have an uncreative powerful intention. Creative energy is a part of you and without it you wouldn’t have the ability to be creative and inspired which is ‘in-spirit’!

2. The face of Kindness – The power of intention has to be kind because it is creating and transferring energy. The positive effect of kindness on the immune system and the increased production of serotonin in the brain has been proven in research studies. The kinder you are the healthier you are and the more connected to powerful intention! What a deal!!

3. The face of Love – Intention is the thing that supports, creates, enhances and supports all of life! This has to be Love!

4. The face of Beauty – Intention is beautiful. Beauty is loving and creative and always positive at all times.

5. The face of expansion – The Universe is always expanding, Intention has to expand, grow and evolve. Intention is always bursting into something new, beautiful and loving! Always grow and learn to expand!

6. The face of unlimited Abundance – Abundance is everywhere and so is intention therefore they both align! Look around you… do you see unlimited abundance or scarcity? If you see scarcity align yourself with intention and the universe which is unlimited infinite abundance. There is no place you can go that has lack. There is abundance of something everywhere… you just have to find it!

7. The face of receptivity – All of the universe and intention is receptive. What you speak, feel, believe and be will be brought into your reality. Watch your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and perceptions. Everything is receptive to you so put out positive thoughts, feelings and beliefs and your intentions will attract positive loving abundance back into your life!

These 7 faces of intention is important to follow because intention is these things. If you aren’t aligned with the universal laws and intention by following these things then you won’t be able to manifest and attract the things you want into your life because you are not being them.

A couple other things to understand is that you want to operate at a high energy and vibrational level. Your energy and vibration must align with the frequency of intention.

By bringing up your energy up to a higher level you attract people that are of high energy and are positive as well.

I cannot think of one negative low energy person in the world that I want to connect with so be high energy and positive in all areas of your life and you will attract those type of people.

I really loved this book and I always learn from amazing people like wayne dyer. This was probably one of the best books I have ever read in my life to be honest. I got so much out of it and I had to stop several times to really digest the information.

Wayne is someone I know that you can learn from and I highly recommend you pick up the book and read it as well!

Be high energy and radiate love and kindness and you will attract it!

The secret movie review

The secret is one of the most contradictory movies out right now. People are saying that the secret is b.s. and other people are saying the secret is completely true.

Let’s back up for a minute, Let’s zoom out.

Throughout the years there has been one common factor that I think you would agree with.

that is this: “Your thoughts create your life”

Now you might think that this is not true at all but think about it for a second and be open-minded.

What do you think about most of the time? Is what you think about most of the time showing up in your life?

How about bills, debt, stress and struggle? have any of those thoughts on your mind?

Chances are that your life is an exact blueprint of your thoughts. Let me say that again, chances are that your thoughts create an exact blueprint in your life. So what you think about eventually manifests. I know this to be true in my life because I thought about blogging more and getting more traffic to this site here and guess what is happening?

I’m blogging more and getting more traffic to this site than I ever have! I’m also connecting with a lot of you on twitter, linkedin and facebook which is cool too!

Have you ever heard these words? “As Man Thinketh”

how about it?…

The secret of life is not that hard to find. What you think about you bring about simple as that.

Look and see how the process goes…

Thoughts > Feelings > Actions > Results.

Your thoughts are extremely important because they create your feelings or emotions and based out of those emotions you take some type of action which produces some sort of result.

How simple is that? yet people still think the secret and law of attraction is b.s.

The reason many people think it is b.s. is because they think that our thoughts are not physical because you cannot see them.

Once you understand that our thoughts can be measured with frequencies and have a direct impact on what it is we are thinking about then you start to understand that not only do our thoughts create feelings which create action which creates results but there is also power in the unseen thought.

The unseen thought is like wind, gravity or anything else you cannot see but does it still work? Is it a law of the universe? just because you cannot see your thoughts does not mean they have an effect on your body language, your emotional state of being and the action you take which determines your quality of life and what you do.

The secret and law of attraction is not hocus pocus. Try it out in your life! pick up the dvd and start focusing on what it is that you want and you will quickly see that doors will open and opportunities will present themselves that previously did not.

Remember attraction is the easiest way, you don’t have to struggle! Life was made to flow and be in the moment so do it!

Thank the bad economy…

Bad economy.

I hear a lot about this… too much.
especially in Detroit… on the radio it’s almost a daily thing.

I encourage you to be optimistic about it.

I am thankful for the bad economy or the hard economic times or whatever you call it.

The reason is because for me is that i see hard times as an opportunity.

bad economic times = great deals, bargains, low stock, low real esate… which = GREAT INVESTMENTS!

BOOYAH KASHA!

See… there are always opportunities in all times.

It’s about perspective.

Stay optimistic.

another advantage to staying optimistic is that you attract positive experiences into your life.

Even if you don’t believe in the “law of attraction!”

I bet you can recall several times in your life when you had something bad happen and it had kind of a snowball effect.

And I’m sure you can recall in your life when you have had some positive things happen… things that were awesome! and that snowballed and more positive things happened.

It’s like a zone you get in.

so stay positive and optimistic.

The opportunities that the bad economy brings are better then when the economy is doing good!
