I’ve gotten a lot of flack lately, but not the usual “flack” that most people get.  I’ve gotten the “I’m jealous of you and your life” flack.  I even had my grandma tell me that she was envious.  Out of curiosity and to get a deep understanding of what envy was, I googled the definition to be clear what she was saying. In this article, you are going to discover why jealousy is important to avoid on a spiritual and emotional level and what you can replace it with to open yourself up to more success and abundance.

Envy is defined as: A feeling of discontent and resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.

Jealous is defined as: Resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage, etc., or against another’s success or advantage itself.

I’m not going to explain jealousy or envy any further, because i’m sure you have that figured out by now

In this article, you are going to discover why jealousy is important to avoid on a spiritual and emotional level and what you can replace it with to open yourself up to more success and abundance.

What struck me as interesting was that I have never had anyone jealous of me before in my entire life.  In fact, I don’t think I’ve had anyone tell me that they were jealous of me at all! Not sincerely at least.

Since i’ve moved to Costa Rica, have been enjoying life on the beach and some of the best food and times of my life I have had more sincere jealousy “given” to me than I ever have.

In this article, I’m going to share with you my thoughts on jealousy, success, and being jealous of someone’s success.

First, Jealousy (or envy) is a state of being that is held in a negative fear based space.  It’s a constricting mental thought process that closes your mind to the potential of realizing something different for yourself.

Have You Ever Been Jealous Of Success Because It Wasn’t Yours?

The main reason people hold the feeling or emotional energy of jealousy is because they aren’t happy with where they are currently at in their lives.  We all realize and know that we can do more, but regardless of where you are currently at in your business and financial success you have to be able to be happy for others in their success.  The energy that you carry yourself in and your emotional state effect who you are, how you work, who you attract and most importantly how much success you achieve.

Jealousy is The Opposite Of Admiration, Love And Gratitude.

All emotions come from 2 states, fear or love.  It’s either a positive (opening) emotion, or a negative (closing) emotion.  Our emotions either open us up to the world and possibilities within it, or they close us down and hide us from that.  Jealousy is a constricting emotion based out of fear, it’s based out of the fear of not achieving the success that you desire and haven’t achieved yet.  Love, admiration and gratitude are supportive and open up your emotional intelligence to possibilities and to receiving information, guidance and resources to expand and grow your success.

One of the biggest realizations I had years after I had achieved success online was that for the longest time I delayed my success in my business for 2 main reasons.

Those reasons were being jealous of the success of others and not taking care of my health in the form of my mind, body or spirit.  I would spend countless hours each day polluting my mind with jealousy, negativity, junk food and a lack of ability to be coachable. When you are jealous of someone you cannot achieve that same success simply because you are holding that success in a negative place.  You are holding it in a place that resists it.  You are pushing it away from you by being jealous.

Instead of being jealous of the success of others, I recommend doing this instead…

Every time you see some success that you would normally be or say that you are jealous of decide to admire their success and be happy for them.  When you are happy for others and their success, you open up to having that in your life.  You invite success to visit you, You invite a similar experience or a similar story to be told in your life.  You attract this into your life based on who you are BE-ing.

Being happy for other’s success, and deciding to admire it is a positive state to be in! You feel better when you are in this state as well.  Seeing success and thinking “Good for them, I wonder how they did it” is much better than “Stupid ass rich person, I bet they screwed over a bunch of people to get it… i’m jealous”! Do you see how one invites success and the other just pushes it away more?

Instead of being jealous, decide to be open, open to being happy for them, open to admiration of achievement and open to praising positivity instead of trying to wrap your baggage around it and tear it down.  You can build the biggest building in the city by working your ass off and building it 24 hours a day, or you can tear the biggest building down and then build the biggest building.  One is quicker, much easier, and doesn’t create enemies.

Your passion has to be so strong that you can feel the life force literally stir inside of you when you just think about how you are going to the world.

100% is everything you got, then some.

It’s going over above and beyond what you set for yourself, it’s jumping over the raised bar then raising it again.

Don’t ever settle, you can always make a bigger impact on the world… a bigger change.

You know that you can do better, so stop thinking about doing better and “Just do it”…

Nike’s slogan isn’t “Just try it”! there is no multi-billion dollar company that “Just tries it” they all “Just do it!”

This isn’t me “trying” to get you motivated, it’s what you need to hear at this point in your life otherwise you wouldn’t be reading it.

Stop playing games, stop waiting for life to come to you… Go to it.

If your waiting on something don’t wait for it, go do what you can with what you have to make a difference and make a positive impact in the world until it come’s to you.

Be somebody whose legacy starts now, not when you die because when you die you may have let your legacy pass you by.

Your legacy is not to puff up your ego to show what you did in the world, it’s to inspire future generations to find the greatness within themselves to do the same.

I was listening to an audio book on the trip down to georgia and I heard a mindset that I absolutely love so I want to share it with you here on my blog.

I am sure you have all heard the quote “Whether you think you can or can’t you’re right” before by Henry Ford right?

The audio book I was listening to said that the same quote applies to failure and success.

“Whether you think you failed or succeeded you are right”

Think about it, it’s 100% true!

Think about your business for a minute, what defines it as “successful”?

most likely it’s a monetary goal.  Most business owners define their business as successful when it make’s money because that what businesses are supposed to do right?

Your business should make money but if it’s not yet that doesn’t mean you’ve “failed” your just learning.

There are so many parts of a business, some extremely successful businesses are failing miserably in certain categories.

Your business is what you see it as, so see it as a success even if it isn’t yet.

See it as a success.  “Act as if”!

When you act as if it is a success it will start to come to you easier.  Things will flow smoother and the areas you are struggling in your business will start to fade away because you are ready to succeed.

Your business may succeed in having great value and a great offer but you are not succeeding in bringing it into the marketplace yet.  If that is the case you need to work on marketing you value and getting your offer out there.

Maybe you are a master marketer but you don’t have a product or service or anything of value that you can sell.  Maybe you can partner with someone to create the product or service and you just do the marketing.

Whatever situation you may be in there is always some success in your business regardless of how failure branded it looks.

Find your success, find your strengths.  Then find your weaknesses and find your failures… Find other people to work with you or start learning them yourself and you will see a big shift in your business.  Business moguls do so well because they have learned persistence and tenacity.

Keep thinking about the successes that you already have and see your business as a success even if it is not yet.

Remember: “Act as if”

Your business is a success in some way so don’t limit your thinking to failure and doubt of it’s future success.

You are a success, your business is a success.  It will get better and better as time goes on.

Just believe it and it will happen!

There is something unique about the wtc method.  I have spent countless hours and money on Learning to make money online, But none of them sum it up like the wtc method.  Let me explain…

When I first started out I tried a lot of different things.  I tried ebay, clickbank, affiliate marketing, adsense, matrix pyramid schemes, I even tried cash gifting!

The List goes on and on.

The wtc method can be broken down within this blog post.

The first part of the wtc method is the w of course.  The “W” stands for website.  You need a website, plain and simple.  You can make money online through affiliate marketing without having your own website but having your own website helps because it pre-sells the website visitor on that product or service that you are promoting.  A website is the first step to making money online.  If you want to build a sustainable business that lasts you will always have to create a website.  That is always the first step.

The second step in the wtc method is the t.  The “T” stands for traffic.  You need traffic to come to your website in order to sell your product(s) or service(s)! You don’t need to own a product.  For example I don’t own a product that is for sale but I do make money from affiliate marketing.  I promote things like hosting and internet marketing home study courses.  YOU NEED traffic in order to be successful.  There are plenty of ways to get traffic.  Search engine optimization is one of the best because it’s targeted traffic.  You can also get traffic through articles and social media sites like youtube, facebook and twitter.

The Thirst part of the wtc method is the c.  The “C” stands for Conversion! Conversion is simply the act of converting a website visitor to a sale or lead or some form of mulah… the money… the paper… the cheddar… You get the picture.

You need to learn some basic copywriting and sales material in order to effectively learn how to convert traffic into a sale or lead.  One of the things that I highly recommend that every website owner has is a blog and email newsletter.  By having a blog and email newsletter your website visitors get to know you and you can build that relationship.  By building that relationship you will make more money when you do an email promotion to your list or on your blog.

Whatever level you are on in your business I encourage you to follow the wtc method.

Website > Traffic > Conversion

It doesn’t get much simpler, Just learn one at a time then move to the next step.

After you have got a little experience in each area I encourage you to use what’s called “Cani” and improve on them.

N-Neverending

I-Improvement
