The Beauty Behind the wtc method…

There is something unique about the wtc method. I have spent countless hours and money on Learning to make money online, But none of them sum it up like the wtc method. Let me explain…

When I first started out I tried a lot of different things. I tried ebay, clickbank, affiliate marketing, adsense, matrix pyramid schemes, I even tried cash gifting!

The List goes on and on.

The wtc method can be broken down within this blog post.

The first part of the wtc method is the w of course. The “W” stands for website. You need a website, plain and simple. You can make money online through affiliate marketing without having your own website but having your own website helps because it pre-sells the website visitor on that product or service that you are promoting. A website is the first step to making money online. If you want to build a sustainable business that lasts you will always have to create a website. That is always the first step.

The second step in the wtc method is the t. The “T” stands for traffic. You need traffic to come to your website in order to sell your product(s) or service(s)! You don’t need to own a product. For example I don’t own a product that is for sale but I do make money from affiliate marketing. I promote things like hosting and internet marketing home study courses. YOU NEED traffic in order to be successful. There are plenty of ways to get traffic. Search engine optimization is one of the best because it’s targeted traffic. You can also get traffic through articles and social media sites like youtube, facebook and twitter.

The Thirst part of the wtc method is the c. The “C” stands for Conversion! Conversion is simply the act of converting a website visitor to a sale or lead or some form of mulah… the money… the paper… the cheddar… You get the picture.

You need to learn some basic copywriting and sales material in order to effectively learn how to convert traffic into a sale or lead. One of the things that I highly recommend that every website owner has is a blog and email newsletter. By having a blog and email newsletter your website visitors get to know you and you can build that relationship. By building that relationship you will make more money when you do an email promotion to your list or on your blog.

I know for a fact that an email newsletter and a blog are great ways to continue building a relationship with your customers and website visitores.

It’s a great way to be in constant contact with them to remind them that your still here

Whatever level you are on in your business I encourage you to follow the wtc method.

Website > Traffic > Conversion

It doesn’t get much simpler, Just learn one at a time then move to the next step.

After you have got a little experience in each area I encourage you to use what’s called “Cani” and improve on them.

Cani stands for…

C-constant

A-And

N-Neverending

I-Improvement

Some web lingo you might not know…

I was reading the latest edition of Entrepreneur magazine today and I found some web-lingo terms that you just might not know…

So here they are!

Advermation: the cross between advertising and informatino. It’s a form of online advertising portrayed not so much as a marketing message as it is information to the viewer.

angry garden salad: a slang term for a poorly designed and incorrectly coded website interface. (when you click one link it launches something completely different)

cornea gumbo: a visually distracting and over-designed website with too many graphics, images and animation.

infosnacking: the act of jumping online at various times throughout the day for brief intervals.

interstitial: a form of ad that appears in a pop-up browser window when a user moves from one page to another. Different from bannder ads, they can contain large graphics, streaming media or applets.

mash-up: a web-based application that combines two or more services or tools from diverse websites to create uniques, multilevel tool.

Peel away: A new form of pop-up ad taht appears in the top right hand corner of a web page. Resembles the page of a book that can be “peeled away” to reveal the ad beneath.

Plugoo: A widget that’s connected to your IM provider, allowing you to chat in real time with your site visitors.

rasterbator: a web designer who suffers from CDM, or compulsive digital manipulation, in addition to obsessively tweaking designs and abusing photoshop.

TweetBeep: likened to google alerts for twitter, tweetbeep is a free tracking and alert service that monitors conversations mentioning you, your company’s name and more, and sends you emails as these mentions occur.

that’s the new “web lingo” according to entrepreneur magazine!

Know you know… lightbulb ligtbulb lightbulb.

I’m going to have to check out tweetbeep, that sounds pretty cool.

New Facebook group! Twitter… get as many followers as you want!

Hey guys!

I just made a new facebook called…

Twitter… You follow me… I follow you.

The concept of the group is to get as many people who “tweet” into the facebook group.

what you do is you post your twitter url on the wall and then you can follow the other twitterers in

the group.

They post their twitter url on the wall and you can just go and get as many twitter followers as you want.

Hey!

What an awesome day today!

I am getting more and more traffic to my blog! It’s exciting!

one of the methods that I am using to get traffic to my blog is twitter.

If your not familiar with twitter…

Here’s what it is in a nutshell.

It’s a website where other twitterers “follow you”

By following someone basically they know what your doing at the current moment.

when you login to twitter you update your current status on what your doing in 140 characters.

It looks like this…

twitter explained (You can click on the picture to see it better!)

Where it says “what are you doing?” you say in 140 characters what you are currently doing…

It’s a web 2.0 website no doubt about it!

the cool thing is if your blogging or promoting a product or service you can tweet about it,

what twitter does is take it and allows you to link to a website.

So the more followers you get the better.
